The IS department's research is organised around five themes that map cleanly onto the discipline's biggest open questions, plus a methods-and-policy spine. This page goes one level deeper than the homepage's research section: representative faculty per theme, editorial roles by journal, and a path to PhD supervision.
Each theme is a research community inside the department — usually 6 to 12 colleagues. The lists below are representative, not exhaustive; use the homepage's faculty discovery to see everyone working in an area.
